Privacy
Draft for operator and legal review. This page describes how the demo is built today. It must be checked and completed (operator identity, providers, jurisdiction) before public launch.
What stays on your device
The game saves your settings, your latest checkpoint and whether you finished the demo in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it. There are no accounts and no cloud saves.
Anonymous gameplay statistics (if enabled)
If the operator enables it, the site sends anonymous event counts such as "demo started" or "boss defeated" to help us understand whether players finish the demo. These events carry no name, email, account, cookie or device identifier.
The feedback question
At the end you can answer "Would you play more Doughboy?" and optionally add a short comment. Answers are anonymous. Please don't include personal information in the comment.
Update emails (optional)
If you choose to give us your email address for updates, it is used only to tell you about Doughboy and you can ask for it to be removed at any time. The email provider will be named here before launch.
Voluntary support payments
If you choose to support development, the payment is handled by the payment provider (for example Stripe) on its own pages and under its own privacy policy. We don't see or store your card details.
